The calm before the storm

Over the last few days, I have been busily preparing for the adventure that lies before me. Being here so long, I never actually imagined that I would be off to college, just like everyone else! All my friends left a long time ago, and since then, I have been watching way too much That 70s Show, Dorm Life, and I actually think my productivity jumped off a cliff. Aside from doing the crapload of summer work that the school assigned us, I have been eagerly prepping for the big move; I can't count how many times I looked up "Willis Tower" or "El," or how many times I've looked at the Sears (willis) Tower camera, seeing whether the day was foggy, cloudy, or sunny in Chicago (mostly foggy and cloudy:)). But, now it's my turn, and I am so excited to finally get going! It's going to be amazing (I hope), and what's even more amazing is that I was able to get all my winter clothes in one big luggage; I even shrunk my total repertoire to one big luggage and one small one! Earlier this week, I shipped most of my worldly possessions that are of extreme importance to me: Comforter, lamp, shower caddy and all the seasons of That 70s Show. So, after spending a cool 100 bucks, they were off, and they got there without incident, so hopefully Tuesday I can go pick them up and make my room my new home! So, next week, you will probably see me at the beach sometime during the week, or admiring the absolutely beautiful weather; Or, I'll probably be trying to figure out how the hec my closet is going to fit my clothes; maybe those "As Seen on TV" hanger thingys I bought at Bed Bath and Beyond will help. Till later. X

  1. This is so adorable. (It will always be the SEARS TOWER to me! It's easier to let go of Marshall Field's than the SEARS tower!)
